I will always conduct myself in a manner that reflects positively on the reputation of the UKPSA, whether actively competing or not.
I will behave in a manner that promotes a positive image of the sport and reflects my role as an ambassador of the UKPSA and Great Britain. Such behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
Always maintaining a neat and presentable appearance.
Avoiding bad or offensive language and unruly behaviour.
Showing respect for fellow members, travellers, staff, hosts, and the property of others in public places and hotels.
Demonstrating courtesy towards speakers at official functions and officials at competitions.
Acting appropriately in all situations.
Ensuring people accompanying you adhere to the same standard of conduct.
I will uphold sporting behaviour that is legally, ethically, and morally irreproachable at all times. Such behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
Balancing pride in participation with the will to win.
Adhering to the rules of both the UKPSA and IPSC.
Respecting the spirit of fair play.
Competing fairly and refraining from any unfair methods, cheating, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Complying fully with the International Practical Shooting Confederation’s competition rules.
Avoiding the use of any banned substances, as stipulated by the relevant authority, to gain an unfair advantage over fellow competitors.
Refraining from any form of demonstration or political, religious, or racial propaganda.
Showing respect for the national emblems of all countries, including but not limited to their anthem and flag.
Ensuring that I do not bring the sport into disrepute.
Endeavouring to ensure that everyone involved in the sport can optimise their potential by promoting its positive aspects.
Never condoning inappropriate or abusive language, inappropriate relationships, bullying, harassment, discrimination, or physical violence.
In the event that I am awarded a slot on a National Team, within the National Squad, or to attend an international match:
I will strive for group uniformity, unity, and discipline at all times.
I will adhere to and respond promptly to any reasonable requests issued by the squad manager or team captain.
I will comply with the applicable Dress Code.
The squad manager, if applicable, will handle all negotiations with match officials during the competition, including scoring disputes, penalties, and arbitration procedures - excluding questions regarding course requirements.
I will respect the confidentiality and sensitivities of any information I hold about other individuals.
I will follow all requests and guidance regarding posting videos and photos on social media platforms.
