IPSC SHOTGUN

The UKPSA pioneered the development of IPSC Shotgun in Great Britain, a discipline demanding speed, precision, and adaptability.

Competitors engage diverse targets – including steel plates, flying clays, and reactive systems – across dynamic courses of fire requiring rapid reloads, target transitions, and accuracy at varied distances. UKPSA members participate in a structured national championship series annually and represent Great Britain at Continental and World Championships, reflecting the discipline’s established competitive pathway.

IPSC Shotgun accommodates various platforms through dedicated divisions (Pump Action, Semi-Automatic, Open Class), allowing shooters of all levels to compete fairly. Certified Range Officers enforce strict safety protocols at all events, ensuring secure participation from local matches to international tournaments. the GB team is home to some of the best practical shotgun competitors in the world including the current Super Senior and Junior World Champions.
