Hi everyone, We wanted to take this opportunity to share a quick but important update on what your Charity Board has been working on since the AGM – and what’s coming next!
Our First Meeting (July 2nd):
We kicked things off by setting up the basics—like how we will communicate, manage meetings, manage risk and update the Charity Commission. We are working on a framework of objectives together which will be reviewed at the next meeting.
We are moving fast on our strategy to challenge the lead ban which you will already have seen the first elements of. The full strategy will be on the agenda for the next meeting and will be shared shortly afterwards. So watch this space.
Most importantly, we’ve mapped out a timeline for the upcoming Sports Council elections
Your Input Matters- Sports council elections.
Before these elections, we will ask for YOUR feedback on key goals for the Charity Board and Sports Council. This is your chance to shape our priorities—stay tuned for details!
Interim Sports Council:
With Sports Council elections planned for late September, we need a short-term team to keep things running smoothly. The Charity Board has invited experienced former Council members to form an Interim Sports Council until elections are complete. They will manage day-to-day sporting activities and will help shape the future size and structure of the Sports Council. Please welcome our those who have accepted a role on our Interim Sports Council:
Chris Toner
Graham Guest
Jason Clarke
Justin Cooper
Lee Hopgood
Steffan Davies
Tim Ward
Tim Wyborn
Vanessa Duffy
A Huge Thank You:Massive appreciation to Dave Smith, who’s stepping back after years of dedicated service on Council. Dave will now focus on training, shooting, and family—thank you for everything!
Contributor Update:
