Team GB delivered a standout performance at the IPSC European Shotgun Championship held in Hungary.
With temperatures soaring well above 35°C, and demanding course of fire, the competition tested not only the technical shooting skills but also the endurance of every competitor. Despite these scorching conditions, the GB shooters enjoyed the excellently designed stages, which demanded fast shooting as well as physical and mental agility. The size of the Hungarian range in Buszak allowed for large-scale, dynamic stage layouts that pushed competitors to their limits.
Team attitude was positive and spirits were high. The entire event was praised for its smooth organisation and care despite the heat. Three members of the GB squad were honoured with invitations to serve as Range Officers (ROs). Overall the IROA and NROI ROs received lots of praise, working under difficult conditions for long days.
Team GB’s results were nothing short of impressive. With individual squad members and teams placing high and bringing home medals, Hungary sets a confident and strong tone as preparations now begin for the IPSC World Shoot 2026, scheduled to take place in Greece.
Congratulations to all competitors but especially to the fantastic GB Medal Winners:
